It came as a shock to the netizens when reports of a breakup between Arbaaz Khan and Giorgia Andriani started surfacing online. It was a few days back that the actress finally opened up about the reports and confirmed the separation news. Well, this led to many speculating that the couple might have broken up due to the interference of Khan’s ex-wife Malaika Arora. Dismissing the speculations, yet again, the actress has now revealed the real reason behind their breakup.
Talking about her decision to split with the 56-year-old filmmaker, Giorgia revealed that the rumours about Malaika interfering in their relationship are completely wrong. Dismissing the speculations, she stated that the older actress never interfered in their relationship ever. Clarifying the real reason behind their breakup, Bollywood Life stated that she values similar interests between partners in a relationship. She went on to add that she and Arbaaz are two completely different people. Shedding light on the same, the 34-year-old actress stated that while she loves to travel, the actor loves to sit in one place and watch movies. Stressing on the fact that she is very different from Arbaaz, she stated that even after the breakup they share a very cordial relationship. Confirming the news of their breakup, Giorgia Andriani had earlier said, “We both understood that we weren’t meant to be together. After four years of being in a relationship, of course, I miss him. We are friends, but there’s no going back now. The reason I am speaking about this is because I am my own person. I don’t want to be addressed as his girlfriend.”
For the unversed, having tied the know in 1998 in a dreamy wedding, Malaika and Arbaaz officially got a divorce in 2017, ending their 18 years of marriage. They are currently co-parenting their son Arhaan. While Malaika has been happily dating actor Arjun Kapoor for around four years now, Arbaaz broke up with Giorgina Andriani.
